MindPeace Clinics offers specialized ketamine therapeutics to patients with mental health conditions such as major depressive disorder, suicidal ideations and gestures, generalized anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder can experience a significant improvement in their symptoms. Additionally, MindPeace Clinics has found that chronic pain syndromes such as fibromyalgia and complex regional pain syndrome respond well to ketamine therapeutics, often giving patients their first substantial pain relief in years.

For each shift, the registered nurse is paired with a physician. MindPeace Clinics use Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit nurses with typically at least two years of experience.

The Nurse is responsible for patient intake, room the patient, start the IV and prepare the medications. Physicians will then briefly meet with all patients and address any questions or concerns before a treatment. Physicians measure and administer medication via infusion pump. Once the treatment is started, the nurse will monitor the patient. The patient will be discharged following treatment when they feel comfortable. Together, the physician and nurse are able to provide seamless care for the patient. Nurses and Physicians both chart appropriately per their scope of practice. A typical shift is about eight hours. Each shift will have a mix of patient visits. MindPeace Clinics tries to work with our patient population to make sure we are able to be open when they are able to come in. This means we do have evening and Saturday hours. Nurses must have an active nursing license and are able to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Nurses must have active BLS and ACLS certifications. PALS certification is preferred but not required.

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
